Whirlwind Weekend

This was the weekend for the NWA visits! Friday morning actually started with a morning visit from one of my oldest friends, Beverly Miller. Beverly and Doug now live in Rogers but were in Holly Grove for Christmas. It was so good to catch up with her -- (they are going to be grandparents in April )-- we have had some great times together. Then on to Brinkley to get Lee Ann for our drive to Fayetteville. We delivered all of the family gifts to Chris and Lynne, since they couldn't make the trip "down south" this year. They were funny, opening little goodies for baby Liam -- what is this? and what do you do with this? Pretty sure they'll know the answers to those questions sooner than later...

On Saturday, I headed to the Fink household to visit. That is ALWAYS a lively place! They were showing off all of their loot -- Mitchell had on his Batman pajamas with cape (Patrick always loved anything with a cape!), Ellen had a Nintendo DS with a Barbie game that she loved, along with a Barbie van, and Lydia had received an Ipod, and she was really enjoying that! They had lots of other fun stuff and they were so cute with all of it! Shellby and Jackson were there too -- Jackson also had a new Ipod and Shellby had a cell phone --technology abounds and it starts at a young age:) I made a quick exit when it came time to take 5 kids to the movie theater -- Stacey probably could have used the help--but it was on to visiting with "the girls".

I caught up with Rhonda and Mary Margaret for some shopping and a late lunch. It was great to see MML, and my only opportunity to do so during these holidays. Also dropped by the Landers house to catch a glimpse of Davidson and Lilly before they were leaving for a family function. Got to see Baby Lee in his car seat on his way to the function -- he is growing soooo fast! I love those girls and their families -- always a joy to spend time with them.

Then, back to Stacey and Roger's house for pizza and a movie. Bedtime and voila -- it's Sunday and time to start back down the hill to my husband, my home, and my Sophie.
